Carney laid the boots to Trump. Old dummy was chasing his tail.
You almost feel sorry for the old fat orange guy. Almost.......
lol.. Man, I didn't see it that way at all.
Carney flipped over faster than a prom queen at the after party.
After spending his entire campaign platform on 'elbows up' and standing up to Trump, during the 3:18 minutes he was allowed to talk during the meeting (Trump talked for 29:47) he called him a "great transformational President"
- Didn't stand up for Canada when Trump hinted 51st state to his face.
- Rolled out the conservative platform as his (Hard on crime & drugs, government accountability, improving the economy, securing the borders, increased defence spending), opposed to what he campaigned on (no changes to C69, no changes to the 'catch and release' program, no changes to the current drug laws, no changes to border security) -- dude lied to someone there..
- Didn't stand up for his family when Trump called Freeland 'not a nice person, not nice at all' (Carney is the Godfather of Freelands kid)
- Didn't even flinch when the reporter asked if the US would lift the tariffs
- Carney tripped over his mouth again when he said he 'met the owners of Canada' on the campaign trail
- Didn't deny that Trump endorsed his campaign (over the Anti-Trump campaign the libs rolled with)
-went from "elbows up" to "thumbs up" without getting a single concession from Trump.
So, I'm sorry I cant see how 'Carney laid the boots to Trump' ??
Edit:
I stand corrected. Carneys "Standing up to Trump' went so well, Trump lowered the tariffs to China.
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.
He has given the green light to a $70+ billion spending spree without parliamentary approval, and declaring they have no plans to release a budget.
The same day that Carney's finance minister announced that there will be no published budget, his housing minister announced that housing prices shouldn't go down. If that wasn't enough, Anand (Carney's foreign affairs minister) spewed anti-Israel rhetoric falsely stating that Gaza is being starved out by Israeli actions.....event though that has never happened despite Hamas (the Palestinians) routinely stealing aid and supplies that have been sent in.
Good thing our eastern ass-clown Canadian brethren voted in Trudeau the 3rd.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..
I read that it's 33 billion approved by an Order-in-Council and is only for keeping the government running, similar to a continuing resolution in the US. It's not new spending. I don't see a problem with this.

April 1 he was granted an order in council for $40.3B in emergency funds.
May 2 was $33.1B
The totals of these are staggering and unprecedented for order-in-council emergency funds.

Both of these are for keeping the government running, not new spending. Better than shutting down the government.
You'll probably see this repeat every month until Parliament is back in session.
Yeah I agree he should be recalling Parliament, but I think this issue is being overblown. Carney's not off on an unapproved spending spree like some imply.

They've bombed the place to smitherenes, killed more than 50,000 people, mostly civilians, and at least 15,000 children. They routinely attack hospitals and first responders ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_coet7LMMr8&t=139s ) and they have not let anything in - not even food, water or medical supplies - for the past ten weeks. People are starving. And this is by design.
9000 trucks with supplies, that have been cleared by Israeli authorities, are waiting at the border but are not allowed to go in.
Meanwhile children are starving to death.
I don't know who you trust, but here's the take from:
U.S. President Donald Trump, who ended a Middle East tour on Friday with no apparent progress towards a new ceasefire as Israel steps up its military campaign, acknowledged Gaza's growing hunger crisis and the need for aid deliveries.
"We have to help also out the Palestinians. You know, a lot of people are starving in Gaza, so we have to look at both sides," he said. When asked if he backed Israel's war plans, Trump said he expected "good things" over the next month.

Why are they attacking hospitals? Is it because Hamas is using them as bases of operation and munition depots?
Why are 9000 supply trucks not permitted to enter despite having been CLEARED BY ISRAEL? So Israel is saying send the trucks but stopping the trucks? Which is it? Why?
Is it, perhaps, that they said yes to sending supplies, and sent them, and then Hamas stole them, so now they won’t send anymore because they would literally be supplying the enemy they are fighting?
Perhaps The starvation is not by design as a genocide. It’s design is probably to push the Palestinian civilians into desperately rising up against Hamas.
Do you have no comment regarding the refugee corridors that Israel set up for Palestinians but those civilians were prevented from exiting by Hamas who made them stay in Gaza at gunpoint?
