Chef on the other hand loves Chucky Bukowski, reminds me of the angry drunks who ran tabs and cashed cheques at my old man’s bar.

Counterpoints which are balancing out some extreme narratives.
Carry on Jello, says I.

Hey now… be careful putting up logical explainations for things that go against the negative emotion that the media love to pander.JelloPuddingPop wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 11:27 amThis is a reach man.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 10:53 am This is why I strongly believe the Aqualini’s played a big factor in choosing Petey, paying Petey, hence the timing of Paolo’s exit. It’s all way too weird. The criticisms coming from management over Petey’s commitment level has really ramped up lately since Paolo’s exit.
His exit is more likely to do with something like him being sued for 641K by a Capital Corp. for a failed 21M dollar real-estate deal in LA. Shady business is always the reason for these things. Not pouty players who are paid too much.
Side note: Did you know that sex and negative posts get the most attention and comments on the internet??

Canucks Army published excerpts from Rutherford's interview with Stephen Brunt. Some interesting tidbits.
Had to chuckle when Rutherford recounted how Frankie flew down to Carolina to talk with him. Rutherford's wife makes up a charcuterie board, Frankie says he's not hungry, then polishes it off five hours later. I guess a paisan can't resist a platter of cured meats.

The mortadella must’ve been tormenting him until he broke down. Probably asked him how much the mortadella was.Lancer wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 10:58 am https://canucksarmy.com/news/jim-ruther ... enges-more

1 less distraction.
D core looks pretty good TBH. I would be happy with the group they come back with no more changes.

Hughes - Hronek
M.Petey - Myers
(Forbort) - E.Petey
Willander - Mancini
Looks like good depth to me as well (glad to have Forbort back, if they can sign him).

Just don’t look at our top 6 forward group. It’s as sad as it gets.

Lots of time here, no doubt a tough fix - but doable. Lets wait until Oct., before judging here.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 12:21 pm Just don’t look at our top 6 forward group. It’s as sad as it gets.
