The local idiots covering the Canucks as you no are lazy fucks hell bent on falsities. Or simply lacking the wherewithal to chase a story down for its legitimacy. We see it all the time

The report seems to be accurate Donny. TW just wants to finish the semester and come aboard in the fall.

He's apparently a gifted student academically so hats off to him I say

Good on him for finishing what he started, assuming the reports are correct. Canucks D next fall look potentially fairly deep. As others have said, I would bring back Forbert for depth reasons but no other tinkering.

Will another year take Willander to college UFA status?

I believe he needs 2 years. But, that costs him a pile of $$ as he would miss 2 years of playing, and showing his value on his 2nd contract.

I know I read somewhere, about 3 weeks ago, that he was contemplating returning for his third year. So Im not surprised he wants to finish this semester. Isn't Adrien Celebrini committed to his 3rd year as well. With Celeibrini though there may be some thought of completing all 4 year-end becoming UFA.

Celebrini isn't going to walk into an NHL job though. He's a longshot to make it at this stage

But a chance to play with his brother might be enticing.

Yeah, strange decision not to paper him down - even if you consider him an NHLer at this point, why not get him some experience in the playoffs?

Where’s Topper these days? Some very important year in discussions happening on the hockey boards surprised he’s not wanting to divulge his inner most thoughts on the season here?
