Good Whitehorse kid. I'd have him him on my team any day.
Grit.
Really wanted him as a Canuck. Yukoners mostly are Canucks fans in my experience so it's a better than not chance he is one too. He looks a little like a young Greg Adams
Lots of Oiler fans up here too. But yeah, good chance he cheered for the good guys.
Yukoners are also tough as they come. Living in the dark and cold does that. Or gets you pregnant. Either way.
Do you guys still have the breakfast club zombie-ing across 2nd Ave through traffic every morning over to the 98 Hotel?
Not so much anymore - on special occasions sure. But it's a different world.
Howden should get a couple games. So should Dickinson. They were trying to really hurt someone. Zero respect on either play. The old days, these guys would get sorted out but due to the idiots running the league and milquetoasts like the Dude the fighting is evil and it needs to stop.

What? That hit by Howden was totally clean. Didn't leave his feet, hip into body, just skated into Kulich's path and Kulich had his head down. Howden was even crouched so as not to deliver high. He approaches with stick out, doesn't even appear to be going for a big hit until it happens, then keeps the arm tucked into body as contact happens. I like the Buffalo talking heads too, saying that Howden didn't need to do that because Hanifin had Kulich pretty well covered.....if by covered they mean reaching out to grab him from behind because Kulich had turned him around. I suppose that sort of hit has a Scott Stevens element to it, catching a guy unawares, but what is Howden supposed to do, just let Kulich skate around unopposed?
Dickinson's hit on Chytil was bush league though. I don't think he was trying to hurt him, but it was just a stupid hit from behind. Should get a couple games.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Howden's hit was a bit much. It's clean by the rules, for sure but he wasn't trying seperate the player from the puck. He was trying to hurt the guy.
I agree

The forever tank/rebuild Buffalo Sabres are positioned to be picking top 4 in the draft. What in gods name is going on here?
