Yes, but I don't think that highlights any character flaws on the part of Canucks fans. 55 years of futility that have included watching many younger franchises winning the Grail first, and with no end in sight, is a lot to ask of any fanbase.

I think any Canucks fan who has been supporting the team for at least 20 years and wants to be miserable has earned that right.
