That was a short OT.

Edit: and for those not watching, Petey was pretty much invisible.

That albatross of a contract has to be a firing offense if he doesn't get his game back. An 11.6 Loui Eriksson takes us out of contention for seven more years.

A good game, but Sweden should be able to beat the Finns.
It's kind of a derby though, and those are always unpredictable.
Sweden was too ineffective, playing on the perimeter.
We need to get our hands dirty and crash the goal.

Pretty much ruined our chances to reach the final.
Unless we beat the USA in regulation while Canada and Finland split the points.
Can’t really see that happen.
Whatever you do, always give 100 %!
Except when donating blood.

No Swede has really done that since Tomas Holmstrom retired.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

I wonder what will be worse around here......

Watching the team struggle with that albatross, or listening to Topper and me (and Donny, though he would never) remind all you mooks that we were right.

3 years @ $9.9M
1 year @ $9.1M
1 year @ $6.4M
1 year @ 4.2M

The rest (until 2038-39) are all $2.6M or less.
