Latvia beat Germany 4-3 in ot.

Björklöven’s Bruno Osmanis had a goal and an assist, got the blade of a hockey stick in his eye (no call) and left the game, and was then named best Latvian player.
He was on the ice for the national anthem and award ceremony, so I hope he is OK. Had a patch over his left eye though.

Some interesting games tonight; Finland vs Latvia, Sweden vs Czechia, Canada vs USA.

Blobbee is very stressed about todays USA/Canada game, pacing the room, all fidgety like.

No lose game for the Dude. He's licking his lips and salivating at the prospect of an American victory. That way he can rant and rave about Hockey Canada executives and carve up Canadian teenagers. If the Canadians win, he'll say he knew they could do it and put on a good facade about being a fan of Team Canada.

Chef is very chilled in anticipation to todays showdown, it comes to this - if Team Canada loses its by their on doing. The idiots who picked the players for this team need to be shot out of a cannon to Timbuktu. If they win, it will be the miracle on ice that is more of a reflection of the USA’s missed golden opportunity to strike while the iron’s hot.

The US lost to Finland. Canada is better than Finland. You can do this!

I like how we're playing but we have to stay out of the box.

Pleasantly surprised so far.

Once again Willander led his team in TOI, 25:33 minutes against the Czechs.
