It’s probably becoming too much of an elephant in the room, even for a coach to manage. It’s always there even when they shake hands and make up. Some people are simply put not their kind of people, no changing that. If the distraction hovers, dissect it and get rid of one of them.

If it’s been there since the Boudreau days and still lingers something has to be done. Miller seems to be the problem, as apparently he was no fan of Horvat either. Weird, we seem to prefer keeping the problem over the victims of the problem.
It smells like Miller has formed a little clique with garland and possibly boeser and it’s costing the franchise. There’s been drama since JT came on board so maybe it’s time to move him on.

If Miller has done the 'clique' thing, then yes, try to move him out. Unfortunately he has a NMC with would create some issues but his cap hit should allow more teams to be suitors.

We have our own little rumor boyz coterie.

If this is true.

IF this is true!!

The problem is far bigger than Miller v EP because the group in charge of this team signed them both long term knowing it was an issue.

Which would be some high end gross mismanagement.

It would also be episodic of another item I spoke of earlier this week re: this league with respect to inmates and asylums or Indians and Chiefs.

I have Prime so I will actually be able to watch a game for a chance. It will especially to be able to watch the game and not have to suffer through Ron "I am the star of the show" MacLean.

Their broadcasts are actually pretty good. Miced up pre game skates, it's an interesting package. the Seattle guy does a lot of the pby and he's quite good. The intermission analysis is a couple of girls who don't really have much knowlege.

But are they hot? I mean, that's what is important, isn't it?

I think only because the perceived problem is the one who plays with fire and drive.

Horvat was soft. He was a 65 point guy who led like a true Sedin.

Pettersson.....same story. No heart, which is probably why Miller has a problem with them.

You keep the guy who plays with fire.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Miller only has downside from here on out. He’s has his career years.
If they get a good offer, trade him while he still has peak value around the league (or trade both).

Sure, as long as your getting 100 pt. Centers back in the trade.
Otherwise it would be a huge step back.
Miller & Peterson don't have to like each other to be successful on the ice.
They just need to be professional and respectful of one another.
We'll burn that bridge when we get to it

Or just fucking keep them...

...and fix that awful borderline NHL defense.

This is an unnecessary distraction once again created by the idiot media to reset the same old narrative. The two clowns mentioned have been on the trade this player the day he was brought to the team and have continuously restarted the discussion every chance they get... and the sheep keep bleating for this circus.

The real problem is this borderline defense that doesn't allow them to drive play that they expected. Without the Captain playing out of his mind, this team would have been out of the wild card in November. It's literally as bad as anything the previous regime was accused of assembling.

EDIT: The Captain and a backup goalie playing out of their minds.

The coach can rail. Management can say they need a couple of players (hopefully he means NHL-caliber)... well, do it.

PPG is a useless measure when it doesn't impact team success. Otherwise, you celebrate chokers going up to the rafters or a Pierre Turgeon getting into the HOF because of a bunch of empty-calorie points.

This window may be open and you could trade all your assets for rentals, but I hope they realize they ain't getting through with bars on said window.
Heavy is the Tarp...

Agree

Time to grow up at not worry about your wee feelings

Management needs to fix what they failed to do in the off season.

Their summer acquisitions mirror their failed Russian revival.
