No problem MCP107
I could have also mentioned Ovechkin, Benn, Iginla, Gillies, Landeskog and your buddy Messier. But I think you get the point.
First off, your boys you listed ..Ovechkin, Benn, Iginla, Gilles, Landeskog, and Messier.. well, this is a pile of bullshit because none of them were traded before the age of 23 -or some of them, like ever - the fact that you now think Ovechkin was traded is wwelll..
Ummm. Maybe I missed something, but at no time was being traded too early a criteria mentioned by Blobby. He certainly never implied that those guys were traded.
I think your meltdown coloured your goggles.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

It's health related. He has knee problems and is going to have surgery right away apparently.
It definitely is the shits though as the one on one work he does with his goalies is what makes him the best of the best.
No worries, Silovs will save the day
Not sure if you thought Cuz was talking about Demko, but just to clarify, he was talking about Ian Clarke...
Sure Hall Monitor, write me up a ticket.

So I read that Demko has had hip issues since he was 15 years old. This apparently is a knee problem but who you gonna believe?
Demko is a top 5 goalie in the NHL. They aren't so easy to acquire so whatever the Canucks are going to do it'll involve hanging onto him and either removing whatever is responsible for his injury problems (overworked) or finding the right medical solution.
If they don't solve it before the season begins, it'll affect his earning power when it comes time to resign. This is how it goes for injury prone goalies

Running with back up goalies is also going to affect the team on the ice. If they can’t solve it then the team needs to cut bait and go another direction as soon as they can. They are in the window now, your window isn’t as easy to climb through when your goaltending is unreliable (in this case due to health).
If he gets healthy I would trade him to Boston for (in this pipe dream Boston does this for us as compensation for causing the 2011 riots). Bruins are getting long in the tooth and likely entering rebuild territory soon. Swayman is 25 (3 years younger than Demko) and the perfect age for our current roster.

I like Demmer and all too, but he is a bit injury prone. I thought Tocc was careful with his workload and never played him back-to back, but he still gets injured when we needed him most in the playoffs. If we can get a decent return on Demmer, I'd consider trading him as well. Go with King Arthurs or whoever else that Clarkie is high on and whom we can get for a fairly cheap price.
