Was interesting to hear that directly from an Iranian born and raised in Iran.

People assume I'm "religious" as soon as I say I'm a Christian.

I haven't been to church in more than a decade (2?) except for weddings/funerals.

Also, I tend to not talk politics with IRL friends, family, associates.
