Really, I'm not sure about that. I think they have a close relationship like any boss/mentor relationship. I think Allvin runs the daily operations of the team, so any minor trades, callups, waiver wire stuff, late draft picks, Allvin makes the decisions. For bigger deals like the Lindholm trade, I think Rutherford instructed Allvin to do it. Rutherford has a familiarity with Lindholm from their Carolina days. I think acquiring all those former Pens (Lafferty, Bluegar, Friedman, Desmith and even Tocc), they prob had a consensus and mutual agreement to go out and get all these guys.
