I guess some of these guys are about to start signing for less than they had hoped for.

Just looking at the four pages of ufa on capfriendly and the pickings are pretty slim.

These are the names that could be of some interest, however mild:

forwards:

Mike Hoffman
Mikael Granlund
Erik Haula
Andreas Athansiou
Carl Soderberg
Matt Martin
Cory Perry
Bryan Boyle
Riley Sheahan
Derek Brassard
Michael Grabner
Drake Caggiulla
Trevor Lewis
Connor Sheary
Frederick Gauthier
Michael Frolik
Devin Shore

defense:

Sami Vatanen
Travis Hamonic
Andy Greene
Jan Rutta
Slater Koekkoek
Ben Hutton
Mirco Mueller
Ron Hainsey
Michael Stone
Michael Del Zotto
Yannick Webber

goal:

Craig Anderson
Ryan Miller
Cory Schneider
Jimmy Howard

You must excuse Gomer, he's not the brightest elf in the workshop.

Hey Gomer, thanks for the stats links, we've been online sports fans for decades and unable to find them!

If anyone cared to look, I'm guessing Fred linked to the story months ago but forgot the next time he went for a piss.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Caggiula, Rutta and Sheary are the first three FA signings so far since the lull.

Is that it? I was listening to the TEAM today and Harman Dayal was making it sound like every good player was gone, and the Canucks were done because Aquilini doesn't want to spend any more money

Wouldn’t mind adding a D man from that list on the cheap.

Vatanen or Hamonic come to mind. With a condensed season injuries will happen.

That Kucherov "injury" comes at an awfully convenient time for the team. Stinky!
