(he won't get the multi-year $4M+ contract Micky predicted lol, more like a one-year $1.5M in my opinion)
He might have many moons ago when I said that. On that radio clip, Moj sais he doesn't think not choosing to participate in bubble play hurt his value.
I think it did for sure. I think a show-me deal would be more like 2.2.
UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Twas 32 days ago you said "multi-year $4M+ " Micky:

Long after the bubble thing. "Many moons ago"??
I laughed at you 32 days ago, yet you persisted with your "multi-year $4M+ ".
And the show-me contract could easily be as low as $1M btw....
Hockey
fans experts, like myself, are known to change their mind.
YOU DO sometimes

, frequently even

.
Not within 32 days I don't.
Also I don't refer to 32 days as "many moons ago".
Say it with me now: "I WAS WRONG DOC AND YOU WERE RIGHT. THANK YOU FOR SHOVING MY SNOUT IN MY POO."
You're welcome Mick.
"$4M+ on a multi-year deal" roflmao...

i do think TH coulda got more under different circumstances ie opting out and not getting his contract done earlier.......
Well it didn't get done earlier because his hometown Jets were trying to create a spot for him... not gonna happen now.
As for the opting out, well here's what happened there:
“Playing in the NHL is a privilege and I take a lot of pride in doing so for an incredible franchise like the Calgary Flames. Most importantly, God allowed my family the opportunity to see his love and grace first-hand last year when our little girl contracted a very serious respiratory virus. Like every parent, everything we do is to provide and protect our kids and try to take away any suffering they may endure. Last year we spent the longest, scariest and hardest week of our lives by our daughter’s hospital bedside. We were unsure of what would come next, but with God’s strength our little girl fought her respiratory virus and recovered. During that long week, we were helpless and couldn’t do anything to help her except hold her little hands, kiss her head and pray. We saw what a respiratory virus can do to our healthy little girl and it’s something no parent wants or should have to go through. Now blessed with our second child, a baby boy, the risk of today’s COVID-19 pandemic is a very difficult one to weigh as parents.
“Due to what my daughter already has gone through and the concerns if she were to catch COVID-19, I’ve decided to opt out and seek a leave of absence from the Calgary Flames for the remainder of the playoffs."
Now do you seriously think anyone held his decision to opt out against him Mick?
What, you didn't know about his reasons for opting out?
Why... I thought you were Gomer McLinky, the information king!
