(he won't get the multi-year $4M+ contract Micky predicted lol, more like a one-year $1.5M in my opinion)
He might have many moons ago when I said that. On that radio clip, Moj sais he doesn't think not choosing to participate in bubble play hurt his value.

I think it did for sure. I think a show-me deal would be more like 2.2.
UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Twas 32 days ago you said "multi-year $4M+ " Micky:

http://www.canuckscorner.com/forums/vie ... 18#p403018

Long after the bubble thing. "Many moons ago"??

I laughed at you 32 days ago, yet you persisted with your "multi-year $4M+ ".

And the show-me contract could easily be as low as $1M btw....
Hockey fans experts, like myself, are known to change their mind. YOU DO sometimes  , frequently even .

I'm now of of the mind he could help us out and there would still be plenty of games for other D. Juolevi will be in to start, we think and with a

condensed, Canadian, fight filled, bruising season, there will be Oweees. Or with the luxury of expanded personel for this year, Travis Green may

Throw others in at times, IE when he suspect someone may be ailing or simply thinks someone is sucking.

i do think TH coulda got more under different circumstances ie opting out and not getting his contract done earlier.......

You still alive Wids?
Lurking!! All moved in and just hanging art work today. Then its time to go to the wine store. I have a new wine rack that holds 10bottles and its empty!!!

There hasn't been much on this site to really entice a girl to come out and play. Maybe once the season starts.

Did I tell you I love the idea of a Canadian Division?
A wine rack!

At least you'll have a spot to store your empties

Glad you survived a reno-pocolype. Some people go insane from that shit

Without a doubt and have Benn and Rafferty as your 7/8. Just think, the Canucks could go into this season with:
Hughes-Schmidt
Edler-Myers
Juolevi-Hamonic
Benn-Rafferty

In Boeser's rookie season all of 3 years ago it was:
Edler-Tanev
Hutton-Stecher
Del Zotto-Gudbranson
Pouliot-Biega

That is a massive upgrade with Rathbone and potentially Tryamkin still in the mix and Woo and Jurmo much later on. Long gone are the days when Hutton, Frankie Corrado, Jordan Subban, and Yann Sauve are the brightest prospects in the system.

Not within 32 days I don't.

Also I don't refer to 32 days as "many moons ago".

Say it with me now: "I WAS WRONG DOC AND YOU WERE RIGHT. THANK YOU FOR SHOVING MY SNOUT IN MY POO."

You're welcome Mick. :drink:

"$4M+ on a multi-year deal" roflmao...

Micky wrote: Tue Dec 15, 2020 1:59 pm i do think TH coulda got more under different circumstances ie opting out and not getting his contract done earlier.......
Well it didn't get done earlier because his hometown Jets were trying to create a spot for him... not gonna happen now.

As for the opting out, well here's what happened there:

“Playing in the NHL is a privilege and I take a lot of pride in doing so for an incredible franchise like the Calgary Flames. Most importantly, God allowed my family the opportunity to see his love and grace first-hand last year when our little girl contracted a very serious respiratory virus. Like every parent, everything we do is to provide and protect our kids and try to take away any suffering they may endure. Last year we spent the longest, scariest and hardest week of our lives by our daughter’s hospital bedside. We were unsure of what would come next, but with God’s strength our little girl fought her respiratory virus and recovered. During that long week, we were helpless and couldn’t do anything to help her except hold her little hands, kiss her head and pray. We saw what a respiratory virus can do to our healthy little girl and it’s something no parent wants or should have to go through. Now blessed with our second child, a baby boy, the risk of today’s COVID-19 pandemic is a very difficult one to weigh as parents.

“Due to what my daughter already has gone through and the concerns if she were to catch COVID-19, I’ve decided to opt out and seek a leave of absence from the Calgary Flames for the remainder of the playoffs."

Now do you seriously think anyone held his decision to opt out against him Mick? :scowl:

What, you didn't know about his reasons for opting out? :wow:

Why... I thought you were Gomer McLinky, the information king! 8-)

Yes; It's a cut throat business as all major sports are where there's a championship at stake.

Yes: I read the same article everyone did about why he did. see

So because his daughter (as well as other family members btw) has health issues... teams don't want to sign him as much?

Have you been hearing me about him only wanting to play for one of the 4 Western Canada teams Micky?

"Everybody" did not previously read that article... and I seriously doubt you did bro!

Or maybe you did and then forgot about it, let's face it, your memory is not the greatest.

Coming out of a lockdown isn't much different than coming out of a lockout. There will be a lot of mid tier vets just happy to get a pay cheque for a year or two.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

It’s the same as when anti-virus software is written by the same programmers that wrote the virus in the first place.
Capitalism!

A flat-earthen, anti-masker might suspect Pfizer or Moderna might have had something to do with creating the Trump virus in the first place.

$16.00 per shot of vaccine.

Sounds like Nucks are interested in Erik Haula in addition to Hamonic. Haula was a former Vegas Knight and almost scored 30Gs not too long ago. Apparently, they're high on Marc Michaelis too and think he can battle for a roster spot.
