Re: CC Random thread
Is an outstanding warrant used to justify a death sentence?
Looking at Doc's video in the other thread, it showed the police (3 of them?) subduing Blake. Then Blake gets up, and the best the officers can do is follow him with a pointed gun? If there was a reason to arrest the guy or even get to the point where guns need to be drawn, they should have just cuffed him earlier and avoided the whole mess. To me, that's a show of inadequate training.
With George Floyd - it's the same thing. Why knee on the guy's neck for 8 minutes, when you can just cuff him and put in the car? Again - poor training or something worse?
Comparing criminal crime to police on citizen crime is not the answer. The public expects the police to be better than criminals.
The police have a tough job, and they don't make it any easier with these incidents. Defunding the police to re-fund mental health workers and social workers and people who are trained to deal with specific problems will go a long a way to start cutting down the number of incidents we see of this sort.

No a warrant doesn’t warrant killing . But it does heighten anxiety when they are told warrant out domestic violence or robbery with weapon or threats issued with weapon or.... etc etc

I said it’s moot, because you are just trying to muddy the waters by raising a completely different topic.rats19 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 9:14 am Per said:
That’s a moot point. Criminals kill people. Hopefully they get caught and punished.
Are you fucking kidding me right now per? It’s MOOT???
I thought it was about black lives and the fact they matter!!! So it’s really about who kills who in the end...![]()
Dig up how many of these police deaths of blacks are criminals. Warrants out ? Violence resistance in the past
According to your thinking the deaths would be moot.... oh wait they weren’t killed by another criminal so now it’s important... fuck me large I don’t understand you and the left side of the political plane at all per
I actually get mad and upset I should not answer any of these
Yes, of course it’s not OK that criminals commit crimes, but hey, they are not being paid tax dollars to do so. It’s a different issue. It’d be great if we could eliminate all crime, but that’s not the topic at hand.
We hold the police to a higher standard. The police should not commit crimes.
And if they do they must be prosecuted like other criminals.

Forgive me I thought it was about black lives matter....
But apparently it’s about ... Black lives matter in certain situations only!!

Re: CC Random thread
Right..... but when black people kill other black people, or white people kill other white people, it usually has nothing to do with race.
The whole BLM thing is about white policemen tending to be more trigger happy around black people than white people and therefor killing a disproportionate number of black people.
Now, policemen are theoretically controlled by tax payer money, and are meant to serve and protect, so that some people have to fear for their lives in their presence is not OK. That’s what makes it political.
And yeah, sure, if you can find a way to reduce all homicides, great.
It’ll be tough though, because I’m pretty sure that would require both eliminating poverty and restricting access to guns, and neither of those ideas seem popular with the American voters.

Man Shot in the Arm by Kyle Rittenhouse Says His Only Regret Was “Not Killing the Kid”

Yep, a clear case of self-defense. NEXT CASE!![]()

Today he's a "murderous punk".
'Get a rope' eh Per?
Gaige Grosskreutz, a member of the radical People's Revolution, was the guy who got shot in the arm.
He had been chasing Mr Rittenhouse down the street with a drawn handgun.
Then, as you say, he leveled that gun at a fallen Mr Rittenhouse.
Self-defense.

But they killed more whites than blacks (population difference)
Blacks committed more crime so there is that
No I think if the black lives matter movement is to have legs for the future it is going to have to include all black lives imho Maybe even the 250,000+ black abortions each year in the USA
Try showing up in Chicago and do some peaceful protesting there if it actually was about black lives period. It’s not though you see per it’s not!

Re: CC Random thread
Nope, they failed to subdue Blake after he began to resist being handcuffed.
Apparently Mr Blake is one tough motherfucker!
Which probably helped him survive being shot multiple times...
You're not paying attention Corn.
When Blake broke free, 2 police officers used their tasers on him.
For some reason the tasers had no effect on him.
They could have shot him right then and there, but they were clearly doing their best not to.
Then he pulls a knife on them and opens the car door.
No choice now, they HAD to shoot him.
Blake seems like a guy who didn't want to be taken alive (looking at a lot of prison time).
First thing the cops did was tell him he's under arrest on an outstanding felony warrant (assault).
Then they tried to handcuff him and he decided to wrestle with them instead.
Tasers had no effect and he couldn't be talked into surrendering.
Then... the guy who just overpowered them... pulls a knife at close range.
And he refuses to drop said knife upon command!
No choice but to shoot him at that point, sorry...
Police were called because Blake was in violation of a restraining order and trying to steal a car
... there was also a warrant for his arrest and he resisted, wrestled, brushed off two taserings, and pulled a knife:
https://nypost.com/2020/08/28/this-is-w ... is-arrest/
All the facts right there, more than you wanted to know I'm sure.
Jacob Blake is most definitely "a bad guy" and the cops were just doing their job.

Again with the "punk".Per wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 8:36 am As for the latest incident, a 17-yo punk travels from out of state to hang out with an armed militia group during protests and riots in Wisconsin. The kid illegally carries an assault weapon and uses it to kill two people and injure at least one more.
And people try to make up excuses for him?! What the fuck was he even doing there? He lives in Illinois.
Mr Rittenhouse lived 30 minutes away from the scene.
The 3 people shot lived further away from the scene than he did.
(do some research for a change)
At least one of the 3 guys shot also brought a weapon to the scene.
(another used a skateboard as a weapon, the 3rd we have no information on yet)
And yet Rittenhouse is the punk.
Which is worse by the way, "an armed militia group" or an armed group of rioters 3 days into violent riots.
ANSWER: The latter.
The former is trying to protect property, the latter is trying to destroy (more) property.
No one is "making up excuses for him" Per.
They are merely pointing out it was a clear case of self-defense.
Listen Per, if you want to be on the side of moral outrage, you've got to stick to the facts my friend.
Ignoring the facts and twisting the truth is clearly immoral, therefore all you are left with is your fake outrage.

Live feed:Thousands expected at Clackamas Trump rally headed to Portland
Thousands of people gathered Saturday for a “Trump cruise rally” at the Clackamas Town Center, from which they will drive to Portland where a clash with anti-racist demonstrators almost certainly awaits.
“We would like to get some fellow American patriots together for a Trump 2020 Cruise rally to support our great president,” the Facebook event page, which drew some 2,500 attendees, says. A post pinned to the page encouraged concealed carry among attendees.
Hordes of trucks flying Trump, Gadsden, American and Thin Blue Line flags had lined the town center parking lot by 4 p.m.
