Learn to read Gomer Disciple. He gave away a years worth of picks for 2 1/4 years of Tanner Pearson. The guys I mentioned were pretty much bottom end scrubs that are always available for cheap on July 1 or on the waiver wire. No need to hemorrhage picks for a pile of garbage.

Of course there were missteps every GM has them, they still needed to ice a competitive team for sake of bo, Jake, marky, Brock. They sucked but they didn’t get blown out of games like Detroit did this year. A lot of that “waste” was gambles and placeholders.

It’s good to know botchfords legacy will live on with Bolo tie Burke and hateful Harmon. Funny thing is I think Harmon is trying to get on with an nhl team ala Ryan biech. Don’t know if trashing nhl exec’s is the way to go about it.
