He definitely deserved some recognition.

The Canes are holding a jersey retirement for the immortal David Ayres. His #90 will be raised to the rafters on Tuesday.

The Canes sure knows how to troll people, what with the "bunch of jerks" thing last year and this jersey retirement this year.

Though he is a leaf fan, he's not dead yet.
If he’s a Leaves fan, he’s dead to me :D
Nice title change - a memory we can all share happily.

This story is funnier precisely because he's a Laffs fan

That was Dumbass leaving midway through the third.

Man, do I know how to throw a hockey party or what!

The hated Leaves lose to a Leaves-employed 42-yr-old kidney-transplant recipient

... who hasn't played a single hockey game anywhere in 5 years.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/4 ... avid-ayres

Then the hated Bruins get blown up by the beloved Canucks.

BEST HOCKEY PARTY EVER!!! :rockin:

There's redemption, then there's the kind of redemption that only the leaves can provide.

Well done, Mr Ayres.

Dumbass left early to clean out his office.

That way when he gets called into an afternoon "meeting" next week, he can just get escorted out of the building without having to come back for his belongings later.

Wouldn't it be funny if the Zamboni driver is the one who escorts Kyle out of the building?
