Spent last week in Vancouver, stayed in ditchmond, trained into downtown for a conference. Train is packed to the nuts most hours of the day, rained 90% of the time. Hotel breakfast, crunchy burnt steam cabinet eggs.

And yes, I'm sick now.

Hopefully I'm not back for another year.

The dust masks do fuck all, apparently. I went to the hockey game last night - seabus then expo line to stadium station, packed with the mask wearers, not I. Ole Chef got pretty gunned on old fashions and beers, the alcohol probably decimated any germs trying to infiltrate my body

Yeah it's a massive project crossing many towns and land, provincial border....you see how even difficult it is just to re-zone a fucking parcel of land in vancouver for a 6 story apt building, the NIMBY's come out in full force to shut'r down.
