Rumor is torn hamstring.
Damned problem for the older set these groins and hamstrings. He'll likely have a bit of a hitch in his gitalong from now on.

Been through all of this as an oldster myself. My advice would be to take it easy, enjoy his money before he gets too gimped up.

I find it odd that he tore a hamstring while shooting - from what little I know, that injury can happen to bodybuilders who overload the squat - your other muscles have to be incredibly strong to tear a hammy without being hit.

Gio's last major injury was tearing a bicep, which is also really weird for a hockey player. This lends more credence to my theory on how Gio got so jacked and hit his pick at age 35...

I got a feeling one of the Pacific will fall out of the wild card and a central team will replace them.

And if I had to pick one, I'd say it'll be the Hawks.

Oh, what a first round that would be!

Ok hows this:

A major injury after 35 typically would signal the end of him being the dominant player he has been. Without him the Lames are vastly weaker. Might even drop out of the race.

Good!

So it looks like Giordano is out week-to-week, whatever that means. This is increasingly looking like the Lames are the most vulnerable out of the 5 Pacific top teams to drop out of the playoffs, especially if they lose to the Preds tonight. That would be so freaking funny especially how the Mongoloids over there blew their loads over how "elite" their team was last year while everyone else in the league can see how flukey that record was.
