If dumbass makes it til next summer itll be a miracle. I guess he figures if he can get career years out of everyone and squeek into a playoff win or 2 he might avoid the axe. He obviously knows this group cant win a round but hes hoping a couple wins will stave off elimination

The team is not structured right. Signing JT was a big mistake unless they were going to move 1 of his other big name forwards. Regardless of what fish breath thinks, the D and goaltending have sucked for a long time in TO, and they have never addressed it.

Scoring your way out of trouble never wins you a cup or even a round.

It's looking that way.
He had two 61 point seasons then caused a huge media mess by holding out for at least a million per season more that he was actually worth.
Then: Played like a lost puppy last season. So bad, as a matter of fact, that he is trying a stupid gimmick by changing his number to 88.
I suppose, now he will have another excuse this year, by blaming his new number. What a circus.

Eriksson yes
Beagle yes

Myers - got what was expected. He lives in Kelowna, wife is from BC. Vancouver was his no. 1 destination

Ferland - got less than expected, wanted to play in Vancouver

Roussel - excellent signing, excellent replacement for Dorsett
