I jest - Pooliot has been making Guds look like a Norris candidate lately. Seems like he can barely touch the puck without doing something wrong.

They really should try Pouliot as a forward as he can't defend well, I mean they did have Biega play forward a few times when injuries hit last year.

That doesn't seem like a bad idea. Put Breezebwa in to see what he can do.
Who do you take out to put Poo in at forward?
Green probably likes being an NHL coach. Don't see it happening. Just put him in the pressbox.

The Oilers are quite putrid. How is it humanly possible? Connor “McJesus” can’t even save this gong show. But hey - Tanking - the only way to fly!

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
The seemingly inevitable fact the Oilers will tanking for Hughes? No! Ridiculous! Cannot be allowed!
There needs to be a mismanagement clause applied to the lottery that takes away their balls.
Oh, and you better believe I could come up with a wonderful pictorial but, the children, ya know...

Would you trade Pettersson for McDavid? I’d have to think about that one. I’m certainly not going - “in a heartbeat!”

Some of my pals in Deadmonton think McJesus has 100% bought into the play, get paid, party philosophy that has been prevalent in the organization since the 1980s. Sure he is fast and talented but I'd keep Petey.

They were?
I think you may have been pissed drunk
Not sure why everyone has to blame McDavid for the clown show in Edmonton. He’s still the lesgue’s best player. He didn’t make the bad trades and stupid signings.
One thing I find alarming about McDavid though is how much he looks to have aged. He looks like he’s 30 years old for fuck sakes.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
McDavid is the human highlight reel, a one man show and most likely the most challenging linemate to play with.
The disastrous situation in Edmonton only proves that continued lottery pick tanking is no recipe for success.
4- 1st overall picks
1- 3rd overall pick
1- 4th overall pick
1- 7th overall pick
2- 10th overall picks (Pajaarvi, Bouchard)
In the last 10 drafts dating back to 2009

The disastrous situation in Edmonton only proves that continued lottery pick tanking [when combined with incompetent management and awful scouting] is no recipe for success.
