Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
And you think giving McCann and a high pick for a 6/7 pylon and then extending said pylon at 4 million per was astute. Explain to me whose top 4 Gudbranson slides into
If you have the courage
I totally understand if you ignore this. Gudbranson is barely good enough to play in the league, let alone command top 4 money.

I didnt see McCann being this shitty. He looked like he was trending up when we moved him.
Benning won the trade blob.

If you say so. McCann is 22 and putting up numbers similar to Virtanen on the 3rd line. Canucks also sent a high 2nd rounder to Florida. Just because Florida sent the pick to Buffalo and they chose Asplund doesn’t mean that’s who Vancouver would have chosen. I mean Benning is a drafting savant so he would have picked a good player. Have a gander at the 2016 2nd round. There’s some nice players in there.Uncle dans leg wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:05 am I didnt see McCann being this shitty. Gudbranson is 27, getting ventilated nightly and now finds himself making 4 million and having his ice time slashed big time. You can find a guy just as good and tough as him for 1.3 million in UFA. Dallas did it.
Real win there.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Vancouver came out of it with a serviceable bottom 6 dman who can throw em.
Meh...toughness always costs a premium. Its not like we got a top shelf player but we definitely come away with the best asset from the trade

Gudbranson is still #4 by a wide margin on your Vancouver Canucks in icetime.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:30 am Gudbranson is 27, getting ventilated nightly and now finds himself making 4 million and having his ice time slashed big time. Stecher can't babysit Poo, so that job fell on Mr G.
I've proven to you (twice) that the Guds is a #4, you had no response and you continue to ignore the evidence.
You've also been informed... many times... that Guddy needs a solid PMD as a partner to excel.
He was great with Campbell in Florida and Edler down the stretch last year (you admitted you weren't watching).
For the umpteenth time, the cap doesn't matter yet and rebuilding teams must overpay for UFA years.
(having said that Guds would get much more than your $1.3M from any team)
You need to watch Guddy closer, he punishes opposing players in front of the net and is our only guy who is truly intimidating.
He's also nowhere near as bad as you make him out to be Blob 'Fancy Stats' Mckenzie!
No offense but you sound like a moron when you call him an AHLer.
You harshly rip into Gudbranson out of your irrational hatred of GMJB which stems from the fact you can't handle a rebuild.
