He couldn’t get out of here fast enough. He was on the first bird out of town. It would be great if he’d come back but I can’t see it. To me that’s like found money if he does.

Apparently Juolevi, is done. Stick a fork in him.

The Canucks got voted the 4th best team with the best 4 players under the age of 23. Hmmmm, Hughes a big reason why because he has no. 1 superstar d-man written all over him, but in the mean time, even though he is arriving next season and may even get n a few games in at the end of this season, Bubbles is trading Boeser for a top pairing D-man and replacing Boeser with a 2019 first round pick forward. That is what I call brilliance. Just gotta hope that Horvat and Pettersson can handle all the load in the top 6 by themselves.

Nobody said Juolevi is done. I hope he can become a decent 2nd pairing guy.

You wouldn’t trade Boeser for Jones, Werenski or McEvoy?

Nope

Boeser is our only legitimate star winger, not too mention I'm quite satisfied with what is coming down the pipeline regarding defence.

Woo - selected 1st star of the game yesterday. 2 assists. Woo is Hughes future right shot D partner on the first pairing.

In Benning We Trust

How about this Boobles - "The Vancouver Canucks select from the Vancouver Giants of the WHL - Bowen Byram". Would that cool your Jets? Ease your pain?

He doesn’t even play on his junior teams top pair.

Oh, ok, he sucks then. Gotchya. How about, maybe reading up on why he isn't on the top pairing. Tim Hunter thinks he sucks and I guess all this International Tournaments he part takes in means nothing. Holy Hell, man!

Shouldn't you be group hugging with MS. Melvin, Dim Jim, Hollywood Burrows, Y2Kanucks, CanFan?

Where did I say he sucked?

Those paint chips your mom fed you as a baby aren’t doing you any favours amigo. Your reading skills stink.

Blob you’re wrong about rathbone, the kid is legit and if joulevi doesn’t make it (which he will) rathbone is gonna be a top 4 dman in the league.

I think Brisebois has peaked in the AHL.. at best he gets to the coveted #8 spot on our depth chart.

And Tryamkin is getting a little overhyped by our rose coloured glasses.. everyone wants Tryamkin to become that dominate defenceman we saw flashes of, but with all the sideways news out of Russia about him, we had all better take a deep breath and lower the expectations for him. I am not sure Tryamkin has wha it takes for the NHL, pretty sure he is missing something. Not sure what (ambition, drive, competitiveness, or even if NHL is a goal of his).. but unless the reports change out of Russia, i a hold concerns...

The rest of that list, it's too early to tell.. and everyone needs to put the brakes on Hughes expectations. We have all seen what one bad hit or unfortunate accident can do to a defensive prospect. Until they are here, they ain't here. Just potential.
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.
