I’m pretty sure they won’t be paying a cap hit on the Luongo contract.

Hmmm where have I heard Luongo suffering from a series of injuries leaving him unable to play and perma-placed on LTIR before.....

Genius really!

The Arizona Coyotes have acquired forward Nick Schmaltz from the Chicago Blackhawks, with Dylan Strome and Brendan Perlini going the other way as part of the deal.
I like this trade for the desert dogs...

Strome - 3rd overall pick
Perlini - 12th overall pick

The type of forward the Canucks could be looking at if they draft a forward in the 2019 draft and this forward is expected to replace a traded Boeser

See Oilers hoping Puljujarvi would replace Hart Trophy winner - Hall after trading Hall for a Defenceman who has failed miserably

You loved the Hall trade for the Oilers when it was made

It doesn’t matter what I once loved. You need to stop being so angry at Jim and Olli for not drafting Tkachuk

It’s nit your fault, Blob. It’s not your fault.

Solid roll of the dice for the blackhawks, Strome could surprise as he gets to play with talented wingers now & Perlini is a big power like LW. But AZ gets the immediate better player now, albeit he was playing with some quality wingers in DeBrincat and I believe Kane at times.

But if the hawks lose another trade, that's another dagger for bowman as he moved out Panarin, Teravainen and now Schmaltz.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I like the gamble for the Hawks. I’m not a big fan of Schmaltz at all. Chayka got bent over when he dealt Max Domi for the pisstank Galchenyuk. This could be happening again.

Trust me SKYO, stick a fork in Strome. He’s hopeless. Another Canadian junior player overhyped by the Canadian Hockey Media. Classic stuff

Hextall fired in Philly. Goaltending is their nemesis. Too bad weez didn’t have a well stocked cupboard in tenders, the Flyers have some decent D prospects like - Phillip Myers

Tenders are at a premium once again, lots of Have teams with goaltending issues

They gave up two 1st rounders for Schmaltz, it's a risk for both sides imo, maybe Strome busts, but it's only his what 2nd NHL season? ish, I think he could surprise, that's the gamble anyways, perlini is a nice piece imo, big strong LW could score 20+.

Philly making changes from the top, strangelove's philly tough guy fave Hextall is now avail ha, well I knew sl liked Clarke.

Strome is such a terrible skater even the sloth Dal Colle would skate circles around him, not to mention that Strome couldn’t make a play to save his life, everytime he gets the puck in the O-zone he will telegraph low percentage shots every time, he’d dumber than a sack of hammers

The trade is garbage for garbage
