Was he too afraid to go with Max? Is Ekblad the Linden of defence? Did you see that tilt between McAvoy and Dubios? Why can’t he throw down?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 6:37 am Ekblad isn’t a fighter and didn’t consent to fighting. Did it even drop his gloves and was trying to pull away the entire time.

Ekblad has a history of concussion and probably didn't want to risk another one in a meaningless game and against a midget goon. Don't blame him one bit. Hope Domi gets 5 games for it.RoyalDude wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 6:40 amWas he too afraid to go with Max? Is Ekblad the Linden of defence? Did you see that tilt between McAvoy and Dubios? Panthers don't have no Tom Wilson to protect their stars.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Check out Jesse Pull-you-yarvi's goal in the highlights tonight. He better not turn into that kind of player or we're going to be fucked for decades.

They have Haley. He’d punch the piss out of Wilson or Domi

Ekblad embarrassed himself by not dropping the gloves, he looked like a chicken. Yes it was wrong what Domi did but Max was rag dolling him for a while trying to get him to drop his gloves, pure chicken shit, IMO. But yeah Blob is right he’s the Trevor Linden of defence, just wants no part of fighting. McAvoy now that’s a Defenceman! Loved his tilt with Pierre Luc Dubios

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
lol, well Sbisa got the highest contract awarded for a PTO.

So that's something I guess.CapFriendly:
Sbisa's $1.5M deal is the highest awarded to a PTO since we started tracking professional tryouts back in 2015

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Nobody would have batted an eye if he earned 1.5 million for Vancouver. Same with Gudbranson. That’s a fair salary for both of those guys.

Would you rather Calvin De Haan at 4 years $4,550,000 or Luca Sbisa at $1.5?
