Strome is having a great season in the AHL.

Dal Colle is probably a bust but is more productive in the AHL than the Fake has been

Vilardi is a lot more of a physical player than either of those guys as well.

Bubbles, Vilardi makes Dana Murzyn look like Connor McDavid. It's brutal

It’s ok the Davidians will still love you.

I just would feel a bit better for the kids safety if he was say 6ft 2 and say 180. Dude has to take that in his most negative interpretation ever because that’s how he rolls.

Well you never know, he'll be training to gain bulk in the off-season, let's see how he does.

And if he starts the season with the Comets, he can continue that same training down there.

Call him up in January at 180 lbs... deal? :)

If management doesn’t see Elias making the big club, it’d make more sense for him to return to Sweden. He’d spend way more time in the gym back home than touring around NA on a bus.

In the end, Elias will choose his destination next year.

Looking forward to seeing him, and hopefully his pal Dahlen, at the WC’s this Spring.

All players put on weight/muscle after their season is done if they have to, not during the season, so Pettersson will have all offseason (besides the World Hockey Championship) to eat more calories & protein, do free weights, squats and deadlifts that trigger more strength and muscle gains to gain weight.

Yeah his target should be 180 - 185lbs.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Pettersson scored his 21st today, an absolute bullet. After missing a whole bunch of games due to the WJC tourney he's now back tied for the scoring lead in the SHL. The kid is a stud. Lind with another goal last night. The future looks amazing

Even at 19 years old, 20 lean pounds in six months is a big ask without an aggressive "supplementation" program.

If Dude's most optimistic projections pan out, Pettersson is too important to the future of the franchise to place at unnecessary risk.

Peterrson didn't manage to add much (if any) weight in the summer post-draft, I'm sure he will be at 185 lbs but I don't expect a skinny guy to add 20 lbs in a summer.

If he's still around 165 by training camp, do you want him in North America?

I would be reluctant to take the risk, even with a dedicated enforcer on his line.

Gaudette finished his regular season at the top of the NCAA scoring race with 29 goals and 56 points in 34 games.

His playoffs start soon. Kinda ok with him going to the Frozen Four finals even though I'd love to get an early look at him. I'm ok not burning a year on his ELC. But ok if we do too.
