Every player on that team (excluding ELCs) is overpaid... other than JVR.

But then JVR is a big weenie who plays with zero passion and doesn't backcheck.

Leaves have been trying to trade him all year and no such luck, maybe other GMs are onto him...
  They all say that Morgan Reilly can skate like the wind, but he does that without any sense of direction cause he has no brains.

Defense - the hardest position to build, to acquire AND, is the most important position on the team to have quality in, that and goaltending and centre ice. The leaves have Matthews yes, but they got fuck all in quality on defence and goaltending. Good luck with that!

Nobody wants JVR...he'll walk when he becomes a UFA after next season, him Bozak and Komarov will all walk after next season, cause the Smurfs have to save their money for Matthews, Marner and Nylander. :mex:

But no worries. GIANTS like Bracco, Kapanen and Leipsic are a cometh! SMURFS GALORE!

The leaves farm team coach - The teams best Defence prospects are YEEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRSSSSSSSS AWAY! YEARS!!!

.922 save % Tuna??

Small sample size, look at his entire NHL history.

He hasn't ever really been a number one...

Well 2 seasons ago you could say he was on that kind of pace

... but he dropped the ball in late January.

You can't really say anything for sure about Andersen until at least the end of this season.

He will likely drop the ball again soon IMESHO.
UPDATE: Andersen drops the ball in late January, right on schedule, 3 goals on 8 shots, yanked...

(sv% is .919)
:mex:

Tonight Andersen let in another 5 goals... season sv% .917 now.

4 days after you said .922.

SUCKS TO BE YOU!!!

GET HIM HOCKEY GODS!!... GET HIM!!!
Last night Andersen let in another 5 goals... season sv% .916 now. :mex:
UPDATE: Tonight Andersen let in 6 goals... season sv% .914 now. :mex:
UPDATE: Tonight Andersen let in 4 goals on 20 shots... season sv% .913 now. :mex:

Hmm, is it no surprise that Tuna is missing in action after the release of the Top 50 Prospects list (where are all the smurfs, this so called defence, and the so-called Big Men? LOL), and the Laine show last night?

Are you avoiding these two major events that took place over the last couple days, Tuna?

Hey Tuna, tell us how many Canuck Prospects you see on that list and how many Leaf prospects you see?

Horton - $5.3 million cap hit for 3 more seasons after this season
Kessel - $1.2 million cap hit for 5 more seasons after this season

All the leaves have to show for the Kessel, Seguin, Hamilton fall out - wait for it....wait for it...ANDERSSON LMAO!!!!

That's not the list I asked for and you know it.

Doc, by not answering my Kadri question I think you for proving you do not even believe the embarrassing bullshit you spew.

Laine had 2 points. Matthews had 3...And Matthews team won the game. He assisted on the OT winner.

And the team hurting over the Seguin/Hamilton trades is Boston, not Toronto. Andersen is a lot more than Boston has to show for it. Although you guys are stuck with Eriksson. What a bust he is. You guys must be so down over that contract.

Blues just signed Patrick Berglund to a 5 year extension for a cap hit of 3.85 million per. Not bad, right? Berglund's career high at age 28 is 32 points. Yes, 32. Kadri is on pace to more than double that.

Kadri's overpaid, eh? He's younger and better than Berglund in every aspect yet only makes 600 K more in cap hit.

http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/blue ... extension/

Berglund's career high:
St. Louis Blues
NHL
78
14
18
32

Kadri this season:
60
25
22
47

Kadri has exceeded 32 points every full season in his NHL career... In the lockout shortened 48 game season Kadri had 44 points in 48 games.

30 point NHL players who are entering UFA status now get around 4 million cap hit. LOL. Nice argument Doc. I have heard no one suggest Berglund himself is overpaid with this new deal.

Poor research on your part. Bergland has three seasons better than 32 points and had 25 in the lockout year.
His contract is fine. Hell its less than Sutter gets by 500K and Berglund is a better player
