The 87/88 season was a shitshow, Dan Hogdson looked like a scorer until a Calgary prick broke his leg http://canuckslegends.blogspot.ca/2011/ ... dgson.html , Paul Lawless (Paul Pointless) was a waste of space, etcdamonberryman wrote:Kane should be a Canuck as long as we do not give up any young assets. Maybe Hansen or Edler but no one under the age of 25. BTW. Welcome Skriko. I also watched Benning play D for the nucks......I think. Was a strange time for me.
Then came the mighty Trev...Skriko wrote:The 87/88 season was a shitshow, Dan Hogdson looked like a scorer until a Calgary prick broke his leg http://canuckslegends.blogspot.ca/2011/ ... dgson.html , Paul Lawless (Paul Pointless) was a waste of space, etcdamonberryman wrote:Kane should be a Canuck as long as we do not give up any young assets. But hey reds in the coliseum were only $25!

Gimme Evander KaneStrangelove wrote:BladesofSteel wrote:Offence, toughness, speed, size is all upgraded by your proposal, Doc. On paper, it's a no-brainer move.
But subtracting two popular players to add a degenerate?
Risky.Every player that is suspended by the NHL for any reason (head-shot, steroids, wife-beating, whatever)BladesofSteel wrote:Would this be considered Stage 1? Or because it was reported, we're in Stage 2?Hockey Widow wrote:Darren Dreger

Bill Day says, Kane will be directed to the NHL/NHLPA Behavioral Health professionals for evaluation and counseling, if deemed necessary.

... is auto-referred to the NHL/NHLPA "Program for Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health".
Pretty sure Kane does not have what is commonly called a "substance-abuse problem" there BoS.
Also, Kane is by no means "a degenerate"... he's a professional athlete who does plenty of charity work.
Evander Kane is immature for his age and prone to unprofessional off-ice behavior, I'll give you that...
Yup he gone now..erased from canuckworld - twitter rip, 1040 boot.Aaronp18 wrote: Did Tanbir turf his twat?

They actually had him on 1040?SKYO wrote:Yup he gone now..erased from canuckworld - twitter rip, 1040 boot.Aaronp18 wrote: Did Tanbir turf his twat?

Wow, I know he's good, but this seems like a pretty steep price for a #4 D-man. They must see some up-side to him that I haven't heard of. Even the sports writers are saying it was a pretty steep price.Aaronp18 wrote:Danny DeKeyser signs 6 year deal for $30M avoiding arbitration.

As if I needed any more motivation to not tune in to that station!
And Mrazek re-signs with Detroit $4m per, with howard thats $9.3M in net, and so without LTIR they are maxed out cap wise being $4M+ over the cap.Tciso wrote:Wow, I know he's good, but this seems like a pretty steep price for a #4 D-man. That would indeed help a lot!Zedlee wrote:Lightning sign Namestnikov

Another good signing by Yzerman.
A rare "bridge" deal for a guy coming off his entry level deal. I'd like to see more deals like this...let a guy prove himself for a couple more years before you lock him up for 6 years.
It's good for depth players for sure.Zedlee wrote:Lightning sign Namestnikov
