Hmmm, big gamble there. They won't give him away all the while do you want to part with the grade A assets required to land a player who's nhl career/game is in the balance? Montreal should jump all over this, aren't they looking for top 6 forwards. Juulsen and Tinordi as trade bait?

Drouin's agent confirms they formally requested a trade in November but now feel Tampa has not made a serious effort to move him. He is now going public with his demands. Stevie should have taken Seth Jones.
Given that we need scoring I'd consider a Virtanen-Drouin swap.

I would prefer to flip one of our AHL prospects (Jensen, Shinkaruk, or even Cassels) and a pick or roster player.
Drouin on a line with Virtanen down the road could be scary good.....or scary bad given their defensive track record thus far.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Apparently the NHL unofficially, and not so quietly, quietly, has asked him to decline going. He refused this quiet request and said he intends to go and have fun. So the system created by the NHL to garner fan support and interest backfires. Did they learn nothing from the Rory near miss?
