Suddenly Luongo is a shootout king?!? Here he couldn't stop a beach all in the SO. He's now won back to back games in the SO including the record for longest SO of all-time.

Maybe we'll win a Cup when the players are finally replaced by robots.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada, Matt O’Connor is a name that may soon become familiar to fans north of the border. That’s because O’Connor, currently the goal tender for Boston University, is attracting attention from nearly every Canadian team according to Friedman.
It’s not hard to see why, one year before he becomes a free agent, O’Connor is having the best season of his career with a 1.67 goals against average, and a save percentage of .941. Here’s more from Friedman:
“There’s a teammate of [Jack Eichel] by the name of Matt O’Connor. He’s a goaltender, 6-foot-6, he’s going to be 23 in February, he has a 1.67 goals-against average. O’Connor is going to be a free agent after this year. There’s a lot of interest especially by Canadian teams. Toronto met briefly with him earlier today. Craig MacTavish met with him briefly after a game a couple of weeks ago and it’s expected Oilers will meet with him further. O’Connor is going to have a lot of interest, Vancouver and Ottawa also among those teams taking a look.”
With so many teams interested in O’Connor there is no telling where he will be next season, he could even play for a non Canadian team, but we will keep you up to date on the latest on Matt O’Connor.

You'd have to think the kid would take one look at the Canucks, with Miller, Lack, Markstrom and Demko, and think he'd have a much easier time playing NHL minutes with Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and/or Ottawa.TDA Rum wrote: With so many teams interested in O’Connor there is no telling where he will be next season, he could even play for a non Canadian team, but we will keep you up to date on the latest on Matt O’Connor.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Schultz must find himself pretty stupid to chase after the guaranteed ice time in the regular season and tee time in April....Topper wrote:SchultzIsland Nucklehead wrote:

Either way, the Canucks are set in goal and I don't see a need to chase throw millions at this kid.

Tim Jackman got an unlucky love tap to the chin, looked comical at first till he's actually hurt.

Tough to happen this time of year I guess but not a surprise that it happened. Wonder how CS feels playing in the basement? Well good I guess since he did get his contract. Another team that likes vets and doesn't have a ton in the system. Wonder if Lou's magic has finally worn off.
The only HW the Canucks need
