Seems like a MG move/signing.
Keep an eye on UFA overage junior Petr Straka of Baie Comeau. He's been on fire all season. In 34 GP, 27G+24A, 51pts and +23.

Vandemeer waived to go to Chicago...Schroeder probably racking up more airmiles.

I'm a proponent of signing Mattias Janmark Nylen. Those of you who follow Jensen's AIK a bit must have noticed him: the other youngster (1992) with decent numbers (11g 11a in 41 gp, 12:25 ATOI).SKYO wrote:Seems like a MG move/signing.

How does it work if you want to sign an un-drafted overager? Is he still eligible for the draft or is he a free agent?SKYO wrote:Seems like a MG move/signing.

Barker over Vandermeer... Wow, perhaps Kassian showed enough toughness last night.Boston Canucker wrote:Vandemeer waived to go to Chicago...Schroeder probably racking up more airmiles.

Anthony Stewart (6'3" 230lbs) on waivers. I seem to remember him being a pretty decent young player with considerable upside for a power forward. Makes 900k and this is the last year on his deal.
If he's still around...would u? Can he skate?
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
LAK put Anthony Stewart on waivers.

No, it's time for Schroeder to take his shot. Let's see what he's got.Uncle dans leg wrote:Anthony Stewart (6'3" 230lbs) on waivers. I seem to remember him being a pretty decent young player with considerable upside for a power forward. Makes 900k and this is the last year on his deal.

I think this offseason Straka can be signed.Diehard1 wrote:How does it work if you want to sign an un-drafted overager? Is he still eligible for the draft or is he a free agent?SKYO wrote:Seems like a MG move/signing.

Petr Straka is a former 2nd round pick, will have multiple UFA offers from NHL teams at the end of the season

Gomez signed with the Sharks. Although we're closer to his homeland, he did choose the closest US team to Alaska.

Arnott to the Rags for a 1.6 million cap hit. I wouldn't have minded him at about a million.

Yeah, possibly as a stop gap but I think the east is better choice for him. Not sure if he could handle the Canucks travel especially with the condensed schedule!Blob Mckenzie wrote:I wouldn't have minded him at about a million.
