Re: Not so deep thoughts by donlever

Drafting and why do we suck....I will do this in 5 year spans and see what happens so I'm not wasting my time. … Outside of Burke doing a solid job in acquiring picks for the obvious twins selection and the hit on Bieksa late. Not. Fucking. Good. I read this while watching the award ceremony for my ...

What has our Albortan Shed Dweller been saying about this player? I haven’t been paying attention.

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

Mëds, you can't blame the zebras for this 4-goal comeback, can you? OT... Yes and no? Lol. Stone's goal was offside and rightfully called back. The goaltender interference was bullshit, the Vegas player was outside the crease and attempted to avoid contact.....Anderson leaned into him. The Canes' ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Well I think your ass grab trumps socialz. lol. One of Detroits problems is that they have nothing behind Larkin down the middle. If they move Larkin out for Robertson and don’t have a centre for Robertson to play with, his 8-figure cap hit is gonna see like a bad overpayment. I like this move if t ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

Jason Robertson and a 1st for Larkin. McTavish Mintyukov amd a pick for Larkin. I know your post was just starting a conversation. I was participating. I went and looked at Stramel…..seems there might be something there that could move the needle a bit. Also one has to consider Larkin’s value (wh ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26
The Wild Cup window is now... Danila Yurov Charlie Stramel 2028 1st ..for.. Larkin.
That was actually my first thought…..minus Stramel. But Larkin is a legit 1C. Giving them Larkin for that package all but ensures that the pick will be in the bottom 10…..probably lower. Yu ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Why is Compher thrown into the trade? I don’t follow Detroit, so all I see are his stats. Has his play fallen off to Canuck levels? That trade also guarantees we finish dead last again. Poor Manny. Finishing in the bottom of the barrel is what Manny signed up for. He knows he’s here to develop a ros ...

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

Perspectives I suppose. I'll have to watch it again to see if my impression last night is the same as when I have the ability to control a freeze frame. I'll just note one thing: if the puck is not free but the whistle is not blown, then it is interference. I don't think there's any contradiction ...

Re: AROUND THE LEAGUE - 25-26

I agree, I think the addition of Larkin puts them into the regular final-4 contender......However, I gotta wonder what they would part with to make that happen. They don't have a 1st this year, nor do they have a 2nd in the next 3 years. A trade like that makes their 2027 and 2028 1RP's pretty low ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

But if DeBrusk is part of the AP18's outline, I think a balanced deal looks something like: >LAK: Larkin >DET: Pettersson, DeBrusk, LA Prospect or LA 2d >VAN: LAK 1st, LA 2d or LA Prospect, Compher, DET 2d So Vancouver's getting a first and the equivalent of 2 seconds for trading Petey and DeBrusk ...

Re: 2025-26 OOTS: Playoffs Edition

Holy heck, what a comeback! We got ourselves a series. That comeback came courtesy of the Zebras. Did it? It looked to me that Anderson was on the puck and Barbashev (I think) wedged his stick under the goalie and poked it in. To be sure, it’s a close call on the facts — if the puck is “free” a skat ...

Not really surprising considering the guys who made this decision and the voters who elected them.
