If any have been following hurricane Helene relief, they know a major mover in that has been former NASCAR racer Greg Biffle. From day 1 he has been using his private helicopter for rescue missions and then through his connections and sponsors has been repeatedly getting tankers of fuel, donated chainsaws, gensets, gerry cans, (all by the pallet load) and Elon's Starlink systems out to the rural areas in need.

Tonight, for their home opener, the Canes had Greg Biffle crank their hurricane alarm as part of their opening day ceremony.

Class.

Shesterkin reported to have rejected a contract extension of $11M x 8. Wow.

While I hope that a team like the Rags sewers themselves by giving a goaltender that much of the cap, I don’t want to see it because it sets the bar higher around the league.

The guy is obviously an incredible goaltender, however, look at many top goalies and you’ll see they’ve had down years.

And even with him in net the Rangers couldn’t get past Florida.

Bobrovsky was the quintessential example of why not to overpay the goaltender up until last year…..and even in saying that, during the playoffs he was on his head right from round 1 and then the guy randomly became mortal in the finals and gave Edmonton the chance to take it to 7 games.

You just can’t blow your wad on the crease.

Tuning in to see if McBaby starts squealing and carrying on if he doesn't get a call or takes a hit etc. I love watching his over reactive histrionics

So being a flash in the pan unfulfilled star gets your jersey retired as long as you are run over while riding a bike.

Sure it was a tragedy, but this over the top nonsense needs to stop.

Bruins bench Pasta for the 3rd due to poor performance. Montgomery doesn't coddle his stars.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Bruins are off to a poor start and Monty is on an expiring contract.

So the Devil's apparently played their best game in 2 years against Van the other day then promptly suffered a letdown shutout loss to the lames right after.

I sure as fuck hope they play the coilers as hard as they played Vancouver.

I like it too Megs! It's more like watching it live without the advertisement saturation the usual broadcast is burdened with

The coilers really do have a nice arena. I have seen a few games in there now. Fantastic place to watch hockey
