The Hur interviews about the documents found in Biden's garage would have been at around the time Johnson was elected speaker. Hur's report saying Biden couldn't face a court because they would Gibbs him to be a kind old forgetful man was released about the time of the Johnson meeting with Biden.

That is when the defence of Biden's mental state kicked into high gear.
