Saw that and thought it was great. Only Smith out on her own doing her own thing again.
I get where she is coming from as she needs to protect her province that has only 1 resource and the thought only tariff scares the shit out of her but she needs to realize there is strength in numbers. She already mentioned that Trump will still put a tariff on energy so she didn’t gain a lot by going down and kissing Trumps ass.
Or maybe she did and only time will tell.

Except the rest of Canada has shit on Alberta for years.....so now Alberta should band with them? If I was Smith I wouldn't be jumping in with the other provinces unless I had some promises in writing, signed by the appropriate authorities, regarding the future.

The long-term market outlook for Alberta's oil sector is bleak. By the end of this decade, a combination of market forces, international climate policies and geopolitics will push the sector beyond a tipping point and drive its long-term decline.

Good for Smith sticking up for the oil industry in Alberta. The feds have done nothing but try and screw the oil patch at every turn. And I am proud of Smith for going against the "grain" on this issue.
