Repurposed to do the job of Inspector Generals who would require Senate confirmation?

The Inspector Generals illegally fired by Trump:

Department of Health and Human Services
Small Business Administration
Department of Agriculture
Department of Commerce
Department of Defense
Department of Education
Department of Housing and Urban Development
Department of the Interior
Department of Labor
Department of Transportation
Department of Veterans Affairs
Environmental Protection Agency
Department of Energy

None have been replaced, but yeah, Musk can do all their jobs and doesn't need to be vetted by the Senate to check for conflicts of interest or qualifications

Not saying Musk isn't doing good, but I've yet to see any results, and government transparency has taken a huge hit.

Transparency and Trump, eh? Hell, you won’t find a bigger oxymoron than that combination.

Well the Service has always been part of the Office of Management and Budget...

Great way to avoid oversight. Checks and balances.

I think that during his last presidency Trump found the checks and balances of the system very annoying, so this time he is starting out by dismantling them and/or disregarding them.

Like ignoring the fact that expenditure issues are decided by congress and not the president.
And certainly not by an unelected African immigrant and his cabal of teenage mutant incels.

... unfortunately aided by Congress, whose Republican members are resisting any effort to impose legislative oversight. They can't even subpoena Musk to question him over his action. And pursuing matters through the courts has limited effect.

Keep in mind that trump is just the puppet figurehead. He wants the power and attention, but he didn't write project 2025, he didn't write the mass of executive orders he had prepared on day one. He has no idea what musk is actually doing.

This is scarily accurate
