Yeah. Damn near noon and he doesn’t have it up. What are we paying him for anyways?

He was having a little trouble with gap control in his exhibition appearances and in his 8 game cup of coffee last spring with the smaller ice and everything but he has quickly mastered it and is actually Abby's representative at the AHL all star game this season as a 20 year old rookie. Like Topper I was a skeptic, but I already ate my shoe a couple of months ago. And gladly so.

And now he's already up here.

A few comments;

Was that the third back hand from the mid slot for a goal by Hughes? I noted after the first one that this could be a deadly weapon to his arsenal and it's sporadic use will keep goaltenders off guard.

I rarely noticed #25, which may be a good thing. The times I did notice him his gap was too close to the opponent in comparison to his D partner though maybe they were using it to angle the puck carrier away from #25's side. I did notice him deferring to his D partner when I did notice him. Could be 1st game caution of not wanting to do too much. His net front positioning looked OK.

Amazing that Lankinen was sitting around unemployed in September waiting for the phone to ring.

Was it Swine Necrophiliac who was the Cooke fan and during contract negotiations would show up at the old site every few hours suggesting another 1/2 to 1 million for the elite turd liner? If around today, I'm sure he'd love Scooter and his contract.

The team is looking like the WCE days. Show up unprepared, play a period of hockey to get a lead, sit back and try to protect that lead. This is somewhere between AV and Travisty.

Despite looking lazy, Miller was a beast, though a snake bitten beast.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Thanks Topper.

Be interesting to see EP Jr. and his development moving forward.

It would be nice to "get lucky" once in a blue moon and have him earn his stripes and just stay here loving forward.

Remains to be seen.

Agree on Lankinen.

Scooter.....sigh.

Also on Miller (although sight unseen) the gloss he gets around the league from ex players/teammates/coaches s/b far more telling than the analysis from our group of jaded malcontents.

Donny, point of clarification…..

Do you mean you want him to stay here, be transitioned from defense to forward, and love it?

Or

Do you mean you want him to stay here and love one of existing forwards…..cuz there’s a warning about dipping one’s pen in the company ink.

Or

Do you mean you want him to stay here and love opposing forwards in the rhetorical antithetical sense?
