I think if they get their way, most coaches prefer stifling, boring hockey.

Of course, anything is acceptable if you're winning, but if you're not, sometimes members of an ownership/management group will step in and remind such coaches that they are in the entertainment business.

Yeah a coaches masterpiece has always been a 1-0 game.

This game is boring and gotta say Dave Tomlinson doesn’t help. His description is fine, but lacks any emotion.
He is so matter of fact about everything that it adds no excitement to the game.
Larscheid or Garrett would have been freaking out all game after Perry went after Hughes.
I miss their homerism a lot.

Don’t see any reason why they couldn’t bring up any defencemen from Abby and give them a look, even the journeymen like Woo and Wolanin can play as well as the bottom pairing has this season.

Can somebody explain to me what happened to this team after the all star game last year? Holy fuck what a wreck. Tocchet needs to take some blame here, this is ridiculous.

I'm all for that, but worried they'll get slammed as bad as our regulars did tonight. Bring in a deterrent, bring up up some kids.
