That game should not have been so close.
Sherwood was the engine on the Petey line. He looked like he fits on Petey’s wing, but time will tell. Pettersson orchestrated things and DeBrusk was opportunistic.
Would have been an even more entertaining game but for the refs. Ottawa losing their composure earlier would have upped the entertainment as well. Seeing Tkachuk et al lose their collective shit towards the end was good for some chuckles.
It was a good time. 75-80% of the people around us were all Canucks fans in the Ottawa corner. Had some “Conor Garland” and “Kiefer Sherwood” chants going. Hell, there were a hell of a lot of Van fans in the building. Kinda felt bad for the Ottawa fans… only kinda.
