You guys suck and Leaves are undefeated since the Zambonigate.
You're correct Flounder, the Canucks did suck last night. However they are where we thought they would be this season, fighting for a playoff spot. Yet with two games in hand on the Leaves, Canucks are only 4 points behind them in the overall standings.
Aren't the Leaves suppose to be Stanley Cup contenders?
Who said leaves were cup contenders?

Oh, most everyone in TO. You obviously don't check out Luke Fox or Chris Johnston on Sportsnet. Do you always answer a question with a question, Flounder?

Toronto is a much bigger cup contender right now than anyone gives them credit for.
But perhaps you've changed your mind?

But hey, we've now established from Flounder's mouth that the Leaves aren't Cup contenders. So when does the rebuild start and the moving of high salary under achieving players?

This was so predictable.

We've also seen in Flounder's world that a season is only three games.

I want to update and remind Flounder that CapFriendly shows along with players on LTD who should be expected to be on the Leaves roster next season, they have 18 players under contract and with the cap not yet determined how much to go up there is just over 3.7 million cap space. For a team that isn't a Cup contender.
The Canucks have 16 players and 18 million in cap space. Boy are the Canucks in cap hell!

The Leaves just cruised through California to play the 3 shittiest teams in the Western conference and managed to eke out a single point scoring just 3 goals in 3 games.
I wish Florida didn't suck so much.

The Leaves don't have the “playoff” factor. They are shiny pretty little team with a few starry like players making over $10 million. Not enough playoff grit, truculence, crashers, size to get through the tough playoff grind. As usual the softies like Nylander will wilt when the hitting and grit factor ramps up as usual in the playoffs. Tavares is just way too fucking meh when it comes to “big game player” status. Matthews lacks heart. Plus their goalie is known big game choker.
This team is not built for the long hard road to the Cup finals bottom line

The leaves need to break up the Big 4 up front. It’s easy to say move Nylander but maybe moving Matthews might be smarter. They could grab a big haul for him and allocate the funds to other areas of the team.
Hayton + Chychrun + a 1st + another good asset(s).

I agree, move Matthews to Arizona, he’s going there when he becomes a free agent at the age of 26. Both Hayton, Soderstrom need to be apart of that package plus Chychrun.
