I've seen enough of Chef's posts when quoted or before I log in to make me laugh. He is too lazy to have read my well defined position on both Democrat and Republican Presidential candidates. A few comments;

Bored yesterday evening after spending a too hot afternoon standing around memorial service for an old friend, I tuned into Megyn Kelly's youtube commentary on the proceeding because her over the top rhetoric amuses me as much as her clavicles do. She was desperately filling time trying to keep her stream going and with that desperation things kept getting funnier and funnier. "Divine Intervention" had me wondering if John Waters would be making a movie about the event. Her security experts assessing the failures of the Secret Service while ignoring several points in the video was fun. The shouting far right podcaster she had as a guest was made for the fast forward button. Blaming the Biden campaign and the left leaning media for inciting the assassination was cherry picking.

Is anyone naive enough to think this will be the reverse of an Altamont moment in US politics and lead to a ramp down of rhetoric?

Inexperienced shooters and porn stars go for head shots. Donald with the grouse like reflexes.

Its DEI, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, not DIE. Amid the hulking Secret Service agents surrounding Trump on the podium, what the hell is a short ass woman that is as tall as Donald's armpit doing shielding his flank that faces the crowd?

Two critical things for the investigation, 1 - how did the shooter get to a rooftop 130-150 (I've read both) yards out and shoot before being shot and 2 - the failure to control Trump in transit from the podium to the limo. Donald popping up defiantly raising his fist as he goes down the stairs off the podium and again as he enters the limo makes for great patriotism but poor security of their subject.

Unfortunate Donald had a clenched fist instead of an open hand that the left leaning media could have continued their 3rd Reich narrative.

Imagine if it had been the other leading Presidential candidate, headlines would be "Secret Service Breaks President's Hip"
