Absolutely Barrie put himself in harms way. Doesn’t change the fact the guy stuck his leg in there and tried to hurt him. I’d have taken a baseball swing at the cocksucker if I was Barrie.

That play is going a thousand miles an hour, Barrie at the last second tried to side step him, its usually a natural reaction and not an intention when the leg goes out to catch someone sidestepping your hit. Barrie put himself in that position. Risto yes still deserves retribution

The last one before contact, Riso's leg (knee) is inbetween Barrie's legs. The frame before clearly indicates Risto meant it to be.
In other words; The contact was dirty (illegal)

Well that and a few other reasons, mainly lack of speed and skill. The turning of the foot looked sketchy to me. I’ve done it before in hockey and soccer and baseball for that matter. I know what a dirty hit is. If they was on Petterson or Quinton this board would be lit up

A tad sketchy perhaps, but Kyle Dufus has constructed the weeniest team in the league.

Dufus is begging folks to take liberties on stars like Barrie... Risto was merely obliging him.
