I can see the Canucks letting the old man finish out the season and "retire" this summer to allow him to save face and go out with his honour somewhat intact.
Why the hell would he even want to linger around after the mess they've created

...that would mean ownership are self aware and have a plan for the future.
Have to ponder that one.
I'm done.
They don't.

Given the nothing for nothings of the past two days, just how embarrassing were those offers for Brock a year ago?

Do you think Allvin realizes that a high pick means a lower round number? He probably thinks 4 is higher than 1 so tha must means 4th is better than a 1st.

Allvin only needs to know how many coffees to grab on his way in. He doesn't do fuck all except mumble nonsense through interviews so the old man doesn't have to put his pants back on

Another deadline, another public dissing of a couple players they couldn't move.
Dead last in most embarrassing fashion. Screw karma I guess, dicks can't help being dicks.

It’s at the point where it needs a copyright or trademark stamp in superscript.

Posted in a different topical realm in the OF but for shits and giggles 'cause not all y'all venture that way.
Mayhap we could transition the rights to the team their way as well???

Looks like fans are already starting to talk with their wallets. The Aqua Bros should see the brand damage that’s happening on multiple fronts - even if they lack the self-awareness to see themselves as part of the problem. Shit like what is alleged may be tolerated if the team is contending, but not otherwise.
A rebuild is a hit to the revenues, but this looks more like an own-goal. Too much to hope that ownership will sell, but the least they can do is clean house, get some league-consensus picks to replace them, and then become absentee investors.
A man can hope.

Canucks ownership is a family that just give 2 shits what fans think or care about.
It is about revenue and creating value (don't know how) which they can use in other business deals. I will give them credit for spending to the cap always but most of the time it was detrimental to the team. I do not see anyone coming in to buy this team unless it is an equity firm or something as there are no billionaires wanted to spend money on NHL teams especially in Canada (not including Toronto and maybe Montreal).
I am afraid that we are stuck with them and I do also do not see any significant changes to the culture as long as they own the team.
It truly is a dark time for hockey in Vancouver.
