For the leaves to get to the magical 95-point cutoff they need to get 48 points from their last 34 games (1.41 Points per game). That's akin to win+OTL-rate equivalent to 115 points over an 82 game season. Last year only Anaheim and the Bruins got that over the whole season. Up until now, only Anaheim has that run-rate (though Nashville are close).

The Canucks on the other hand are looking reasonably comfortable. They can afford to play as badly as Toronto has so far and they will still make it into the playoffs.

If history is any indicator they'll start racking up points once the pressure to win has been removed. If memory serves, Edmonton has played decent in the back half of their season too.

Doc it did bounce. Under his glove he was way to casual on that, played it like a ho hum routine stop and it bounced right under his glove, like it dropped just as he was about to glove it. But a horrible goal.
