Any update on the above?

I didn’t miss it.
It was blacked out because Winnipeg is a fucking shithole.
Fuck the CRTC.
Fuck the Jets.

I'd say Miller is below too right now Mëds. But it's not catastrophic.

Peter is looking like a disaster.
Hence my use of the word “around”.

how do you go from shutting out leaves to playing like a beer league team?
The Leaves are a soft team. They have a high flying quartet of forwards and only one of those guys has shown any willingness to dig in against physical pressure. The Leaves have no goaltending of note, and their blueline relies on an aging Reilly and Tanev.

The Jets are a 4 line/3 pairing team of effort and skill that play a fast, physical game, all backstopped by a Vézina goaltender.

One of those things is not like the other.

Saskatoon. 8.5 hours one fucking way is somehow “local”.

They get me once a year, and I hate them for it. Pisses me off.

Whoa.... Miller is god on this board. The same outfit that is trashing Peter was trashing JT 18 months ago. When all they have is "Scooter" and "gutless Swede" it kinda seems like the Alberians are crossing provincial lines with TDM trying bootleg wine and to bring back cheap booze. Had some drinking water mixed with 5w30 and ham and sausage from retarded pigs.

Peter FAR OUTPERFORMED his previous contracts. Like not even close. Do you think these zealots will acknowledge that? Of course not. The first sign of a hiccup and the Pig Mask Crew is out. Think Nicholas Cage when he gets stuck on that island looking for a missing kid. Its sick really. Same type of people ran Pavel out of town.

I still think it's most likely a Tocchet effect on Peter and removing Tocchet releases the magic again. I don't buy the rift with Miller story, at least not to the toxic levels alleged. But it could, just maybe, be Peter settling into his happy zone for the long haul of the contract and if it is, this franchise is in big trouble. I don't think we can completely rule that out. It is concerning Blob, I don't have a spare seven or eight years to piss away.

Who denies his production vs salary during previous contracts? I haven’t seen that yet.

Top 5 picks SHOULD outperform their ELC’s. Especially when they take an extra year to mature in another pro league before lacing them up in the NHL. But for the sake of argument, yes, his production was worth well more than his cap hit. However his actual earned salary was $3.78M. But it’s not even worth discussing those 3 seasons because he produced at nearly a point per game.

The “going rate” was roughly $100K per point. Inflation is a bitch, but it’s still not far off that.

That means that Pettersson was a little below even money in year 1, (as you say) worth way more in year 2, and a little above the bar in year 3…..however nobody will argue that he was well below the mark for the last 30 games of that contract season.

Quit telling lies Chef Blob.

Mëds. He played three years at a 935 K hit. Three years at a 7.35 m hit. The second three year deal could have been a duel 8 year thing for and both he and Quinn to have been signed in the neighborhood of 8.5 each and they'd have them locked for 8.5 each until 2029. But alas your guys' Genius made a mess and wan out of time

Either way he crushed the first two contracts and you and Wiebo and a few others have been licking your lips to murder the guy since the ink dried on his contract.

Your 1 million per ten points is outdated. You lack the ability to understand what the cap was when these deals were signed. Like what was the % when the air thief started to siphon money? Topper has backed Benning since day 1 on that deal. I assume you are aligned with him. Give the fucking guy a chance dude.

$11.6M Scooter Boy has pocketed just over $6M so far this season.

That is 1/2M more dollars than Canuck leading goal scorer Jake DeBrusk's annual $5.5M salary. DeBrusk is tied with Miller and Scooter for points.

Third/forth liners Garland, Sherwood and Suter have more goals than Scooter while also driving the play far more than the $11.6M Baby Boy.

Scooter's $6M is more than what Garland, Sherwood and Suter combined have made this season.

I don't think any of us expected EP40 to start earning his big new salary right out of the gate - but on the other hand, we weren't expecting a continuation of his low production from last year. I don't think it's too much to have expected a point-per-game with near Selke play this year, and then build on that.

I expected him to bulk up a bit, add some strength. Especially after a deep run in the playoffs.

Yeah, he still looks tiny, I had hoped he would 'fill out' into his body frame but just hasn't seemed to. What is his listed playing weight now compared to when he was drafted?
