Re: Canucks Young Guns
This is the first time ive watched the kid play and am a little surprised how the puck follows him around.
I dont think comparing him to Gallagher is far fetched at all.
One knock was his hands and scoring was weak but I'm seeing an NHL ready player by next season

Re: Canucks Young Guns
I think Hoglander’s biggest knock was his speed.
I agree his hands look fine.
Hard to say if he will be effective at NHL speed, but he is obviously very capable when playing his peers.
I’d like to see him in North America next year, possibly in the NHL but at least in the AHL and see how he develops.
Hoglander might end up skating at a Dahlen level, but he has more grit, not sure yet if he can make it, but he is a very good prospect.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Hoglander seems to be playing possessed out there. I think his grit and hands will get him success at the NHL level.
Having him and Podkolzin in two years' time will make for some roster juggling. Maybe Leivo and Pearson shouldn't get too comfortable.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
This team doesn’t move forward by keeping Leivo. Shotgun has already taken over and needs that money.
The next few years will see guys like Podz, Hog, Lind, Madden and more, either make the team or get some NHL games in.
Pearson is a true top 6 placeholder and buys another year for the Russian.

*LOL* Nice. Don't forget our 2 Ruskies: Podky & Nikky. Along with other prospects: Juolevy, Rafferty, Mackey, Lindy, Maddy, Gadjvy and Mikey. They'll be joining our young core of Boey, Petey, Boesy, Millzy, Motty, Stechy, Virty, Gaudy & Demky. Of course, we have our vets in: Myzy, Eddy, Tanny, Fatty, Benny, Leivy, Pearcy, Ferky, Roussy, Suttzy, Beagsy and Marky. In ownership we have Aquey, then GM Jimmy, Coach Greeny, Ass't Coach Baummy & Manny, and Goalie Coach Clarky.

Forsberg fan.
Thus logically.
‘the smaller Aegean islands’ means any islands in the Aegean Sea except the islands of Crete and Evia.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
This is just the Toddler trolling Hank - we all know Toddler comes up with more elaborate nicknames than just adding an 'ey' to the end of a player's name. :/
I think Toddler longs for the days (as do I) when players had unique nicknames like Gump or the Golden Jet or Mr Hockey. Huggy Bear is a step back to the that tradition.
