Impossible, he is the Charlie Kirk version of anti-Swedes. It’s a bit weird.Carl Yagro wrote: ↑Fri Dec 26, 2025 3:18 pm Looks like the Slovaks hung in there.
To be fair, I bet Mëds would be less vocal if we got Swedes who were more Forsberg than Naslund. I know I would be onboard with selecting talent that had both skill and some truculence... no matter their country of origin.

We live in a woke society, so we need a diversity quota in here. Personalities of all kinds are welcome.
Besides, Mëds' xenophobia fulfills our unspoken Canadian mandate
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming... Go Canada!(?)

The Americans are skating circles around the Germans, this is a good team and with a full house behind them. Definitely the favourites to win the tourney, impressive.

Canada really needs to work on their puck possession, too many turnovers which could be a result of not knowing where your line mates are or will be, not sure, forcing plays? It’s pretty frustrating.

So far, just noticing how fast the Czech counter-attack off the rush is. They better not be all loosey-goosey with the puck like Chef says.
Lots of pundits want to point out McKenna's faults. All these kids have warts, but I'm focusing on how how good his passing and playmaking is in the offensive zone. We need high-end skill (that won't get disillusioned and quit).
EDIT: Kid already knew. Spun and hit Martin right on the tape. No look, no hesitation.
Yup. There's the Czech quick up.

Canada’s passing continues to be shite, hence, the turnovers.
