He's just way too slow
Without him, Van would be down to a bunch of 10-15 goal scorers on the wing. Not going to cut it - a team that can't score, can't be giving away the only players that can score.

treat it as a learning season
at least now we have:
Strong D -> check
Strong PK -> check
Strong team play -> check
Great goaltending tandem -> check
Better team attitude and resiliency -> check
Team chemistry -> check
This team might bounce real hard next season if the management is able to patch up the offensive holes

The team is not going down easy lately. Gotta love their spirit after the Rangers game.
Demko would probably want one or two of those back, but he wasn’t the tire fire we’ve seen earlier this season.
Sushi was due after the last couple games. Suter’s agent gets happier every game. Where would we be without him?
