I can't list a bunch of trades in support of this position off the top of my head, but I have the impression that it's tough to get full value for goalies in trade.
I think that if Demko still has another 10-12 weeks of performance somewhere near his personal peak left in him, then the best value the Canucks can extract from those would be maximizing their chances in what the management/ownership group has been acting like they believe is a competitive window. If the Canucks go deep into the playoffs any time before the expiration of Hughes' current contract, then I have to figure some brilliant goaltending will need to be a part of that.

Just saw the Boeser game tying goal on Social.
EP's pass was akin to something Datsyuk would have done.
