What’s comical is that their record isn’t bad. They just played a couple stinkers.

Some might say that The bar is high in Toronto…..some.
Somewhere in NW BC trying (yet again) to trade a(nother) Swede…..

Well they're .500 after 8 games and their four $11M+ pretty boys aren't exactly lighting it up.

As I mentioned, the new coach is making them play a style they don't like.

Most Leaves fans were already frustrated with them "running it back" after 8 years playoff futility

... but even more so now with the apparent dysfunctionality the last 2 games (both blowout losses).

The Marner situation adds fuel to the fire.

The pressure has been building at the centre of the universe for decades.

Things could easily go supernova under these conditions. Image

McDink injured 37 seconds in (first shift).

Oilers down 3-0 after one period to the lowly Jackets.

... and Jackets beat the Oil 6-1.

Oil scored a with half a minute left to rob Elvis of the shutout.

McDink never did return...

He will when he comes back though. Probably tear shit up at a record pace.

I hope the Oilers fall right out of the pack while he's gone. The ammo he will have next summer for contract talks will be insane if the team shits the bed with just the Big Kraut up front. Give Leon $14M and find out he can't get it done without McWonder.....better back the brinks truck up to Fort Knox.

Little Ryan Lomberg loses it on Big Nathan Bastian.

Gives up 7 inches and 20 lbs.

Size of the fight in the dawg.

Yeah, he's a competitor. Unfortunately, the Flames don't seem to realize that they need high draft picks, not wins at this point.

With 13 points in 10 games and his team at a beyond solid 8-2 the 39 year old Ovechkin is displaying two T's, enduring talent with tenure.

He is at 859G after tonight.

Odds on him catching Gretzky this year appear very, very good.

Amazing, never thought I would see it.
