I didn't realize Peter was in the lineup until about halfway through the second period.

Not much 'scoot' in his game tonight.

Will be good to get tomorrow’s game out of the way. Then hopefully the next two closer to our lineup. Enough of the kids.

I think Kudryatsev is AHL eligible. To me, he’s been very impressive. 7th rounders are fortunate to earn contracts, and if they play an nhl game, the scout should get a bonus. And I can see KK as a potential nhler in 2 or 3 years if he keeps up the development.

Problem is Abby is full, but to my eye he’s played as well as the ahl vets and better than the other prospects (and college UFAs). Surprising poise. I hope he gets a chance to play in Abby—he’s earning it—but with the numbers and the fact he’s not really needed for a call up, an overager season getting 26 minutes a game or the echl is more likely. And the last thing you want for a guy showing this kind of development is for him to play a 6-7 role on the farm, and that’s a real possibility if he’s just having a couple weeks shot up with adrenaline.

As for Blais, he’s good meat for a fork.

A few comments;

Telling moment, Scooter Boy has the puck in the neutral zone, gets to the Kraken blue line where a defender is standing. Scooter comes to a complete stop before any contact, chips the puck in for his line mates to chase (was a turnover), waits until the defender turns and moves before he begins moving and enters the zone.

Any word on where Scooter was on the pre camp fitness scale?

Forbert signing was a mistake.

Kudos to Mynio and KK, coach gifted them a pre season game and they made the most of it. Would any of us have noticed them if the rest of the team had shown up?

Forbert was good on the PK but sucked the rest of the time. It was a troubling night for him and I really didn’t see why we signed him.

You correct. Alriksson Is the other AHL bound player. My mistake.

Mynio was reassigned to the AHL this morning.
